Comfortable Crank Mechanism

With its streamlined and elegant look, the modern sunshade quickly becomes the centre of your garden, patio or pool area. Even its largest versions are opened and closed amazingly easy using the convenient and removable crank handle made of stainless steel. When the commercial parasol is open, its colourful canopy provides up to 24 m² of shade for you and your guests.

The Samara has earned our acclaim for having so much balance in form and function. This summer companion makes a good figure in any environment. When the Samara puts it's roof up it becomes an outdoor focal point, and everyone wants to be near it because it provides that essential shade from the hot temperatures of the day and keeps that daytime warmth long into the evening.

If it is placed protectively over a table to shade the guests and prevent the feast from melting, it's sophisticated technology comes into use. The clever mechanism moves the shade upwards when closed. This means large shades are also closed above table height, and garden furniture does not need to be cleared. In gastronomy in particular, where the shade is frequently opened and closed, this function saves a lot of time and effort. The Samara has a 50mm aluminium mast and is available up to 5.5 meters across.  Operation is by way of a very simple crank handle, requiring the minimum expenditure of energy.

It’s the inner values which count. Most conventional sunshades use the simple technology of ropes and pulleys, but not Samara. The internal workings of this parasol are all based on a reliable and smooth running spindle lift system with the spindle made of stainless steel. That’s the reason why even after many years, the parasol works as easy as on the day it was bought.
