The Roulett is a lightweight, high quality Venetian blind featuring a 27mm x 19mm headrail used with a 25mm slat. It combines high functional efficiency with strong aesthetic appeal and is available in a wide range of colours with fully coordinated slat, rails, cords and braids. The Roulett blind is suitable for all types of windows can be mounted inside or outside the window recess using end, top or face fixings. It is ideal in applications where the control of sunlight, daylight and privacy requires the use of a highly decorative blind which will readily blend with sophisticated interior design features. The Roulett blind can be installed as free-hanging, between glass, in double glazed or partition applications and can be used vertically or in a sloping position for tilting windows. The system has been widely available for many years and has been extensively used throughout the world, giving a trouble-free performance and low maintenance costs. In free-hanging applications the blind is raised and lowered by cord operation. The slat is tilted by means of a wand tilter and wand. In a partition application, the blind is only tilted by use of a flexible cable which connects between the headrail and the operating position. Normally no facility is made for raising and lowering the blind. Operation by electric motor is also available. Special brackets can be attached to the bottom rail of the blinds to prevent movement when blinds are fixed to doors and windows.
