Roller Blinds - Title

Roller Blinds- Photograph

Roller blinds provide an important element in the contract market dispensing with the need for conventional curtains as a window covering. They provide an aesthetically pleasing feature when fully lowered and as no part of the window is covered when the blind is up, they allow the maximum admission of light. They are the most efficient method of achieving blackout conditions.

Roller blinds are extremely adaptable, and are particularly suited to the commercial applications of office, shops, factories, public buildings, hospitals and schools; in fact, any establishment where there is a need to control solar glare or provide total blackout. They may be fitted to all types of window including skylights, sloping and pivot windows as well as half and fully glazed doors. Information on these or any other specialised application is available from us at the address above.

Fabrics are woven from special high performance yarns. Each has been specially treated to make it particularly suitable for specific contract environments. For example, 'Shadex' has a coating which gives complete blackout. Other fabrics have been treated with anti-fungicide to ensure lasting hygienic freshness when used in moist conditions such as restaurants, kitchens, swimming pools etc. Many of the fabrics are Fire Retardant and conform to BS5867, Part 2: 1980, as well as meeting the DOE/PSA Fire Retardant Specification No.17.
