Crosslinx is a revolutionary interlocking system that is used instead of rivets. Crosslinx are unique, they are much stronger than rivets as the load is spread over a much larger area. Crosslinx replace the usual blind rivets or push rivets, which are easily fixed in place, and easily broken again.
The Crosslinx are held securely in place, inside the uprights, so that when the grille is stacked , no unsightly pivot points can be seen. The decorative, curved lattices of the CX give it a pleasing appearance without compromising on strength.
The unique 2 point slam lock with concealed mechanism is secure, unobtrusive and easy to operate. A narrow stacking width of about 15% means that there is little to see when the CX is drawn back.
The low profile tracks are unobtrusive and give a smooth action for effortless opening and closing. The curved sides make it difficult to trip over, yet it is strong enough to withstand the weight of wheelchairs etc.
The Crossguard CX with Crosslinx is ideal for any situation that requires a combination of aesthetics and physical protection.

REVEAL FIT TRACK Most Crossguards are fitted inside the reveal. This track is fitted top and bottom made from High Tensile Aluminium (grade HE30). FACE FIT TRACK For applications where Crossguards are face fitted outside the reveal, a similar High Tensile Aluminium track is supplied. COMMERCIAL TRACK For higher risk applications, commercial track can be face or reveal fitted, made from galvanised 16swg steel.

STEEL WORK Crossguards are made from high quality steel picket and lattice section (2.5mm & 3mm thick respectfully) joined together by solid steel rivets.   BRASS BUSHES Crossguards are the only type of security grilles made using brass bushes.
