Para Fabrics of Milan, Italy, have been manufacturing acrylic awning cloth to stringent standards for several generations. Each year their own spinning and weaving mills produce enough cloth from raw acrylic fibre to stretch to the moon and back........more than 80 times! The finished awning fabric is generally produced at 1200mm wide, and is given a coating of Teflon to give it a self-cleaning property. The full range of fabrics in the Para collection encompass in excess of 300 different colours, from plains to block-stripes, multi-stripes to printed patterns. Most of Para's range is aimed at the awning industry, however they also produce some specialist products geared to the marine and upholstery markets. Para have a world-wide reputation for quality, reliability and consistency of production. Although they are innovative as far as the introduction of new fashions go, they remain remarkably consistent with the traditional range of colours, and very rarely do we even find any variation of shade between batches. It is for this reason that we have chosen the Para range of fabrics to stock and distribute within the UK. We have selected a little over 80 of the most popular colours within the Para range that we know from experience are the best selling designs for the UK market, and this range we constantly hold in stock. We normally carry at least 100m of each of the 34 plains, 14 block stripes, 27 multi-stripes and 8 specials,and our selling price for 2010 is just £6.50+VAT per meter.
