FLYCHAIN CURTAIN

All commercial kitchen environments in the UK, whether they be in schools, hospitals, airports, restaurants,  hotels, or any other publically accessed eating establishment, whereby they have windows or doors that open to an external exposure, are covered by an EEC Directive that dictates that the window or door must be fitted with some form of insect control barrier, in order to reduce the risk of penetration of potentially germ-carrying flying insects into the kitchen. When applying this requirement to a doorway that is constantly in use, the solution clearly needs to be a product that is exceptionally robust. For this purpose we stock box quantities of this very simple, very lightweight but very strong aluminium chain which we cut to length and attach to a pre-spaced top track which is quite easy to fit to the frame over the door. Constantly walking through this chain curtain is most unlikely to cause any damage to any party, particularly the curtain, and yet this fully satisfies the legalities of yet another somewhat complex and, some would say unnecessarily bureaucratic EEC Regulation. A simple, clean and effective method of insect control barrier.
