From time to time we are asked by clients to provide solar protection to a building or area where the solution may not necessarily be immediately apparent. If you stroll through our extensive website you can view in excess of 150 different products, and many other variations of a theme, designed and included in our range to hopefully provide a solution to every conceivable problem in the field of solar control and associated ideas. However, every now and then, someone wants something a little out of the ordinary. Just a little bit non-standard. Something, just slightly, IMPOSSIBLE. Well nothings impossible! Some projects may take some significant head-scratching. Others may require extensive research and consultation, followed by specialist access arrangements. But most of our Custom Awnings simply require a degree of ingenuity, the ability to visualise the end result and to see the project through to completion, and invariably a large box of sky-hooks! When the solution appears simple, in that internal pleated rooflight blinds will solve the problem, but the client demands the sun protection must be applied to the exterior of the building, preferably attached to the glass itself, we simply look enthusiastically at the prospect of yet another interesting challenge.
