CUSTOM AWNINGS
From time to time we are asked by clients to provide solar protection to a building or area where the solution may not necessarily be immediately apparent. If you stroll through our extensive website you can view in excess of 150 different products, and many other variations of a theme, designed and included in our range to hopefully provide a solution to every conceivable problem in the field of solar control and associated ideas. However, every now and then, someone wants something a little out of the ordinary. Just a little bit non-standard. Something, just slightly, IMPOSSIBLE. Well nothings impossible! Some projects may take some significant head-scratching. Others may require extensive research and consultation, followed by specialist access arrangements. But most of our Custom Awnings simply require a degree of ingenuity, the ability to visualise the end result and to see the project through to completion, and invariably a large box of sky-hooks! When the solution appears simple, in that internal pleated rooflight blinds will solve the problem, but the client demands the sun protection must be applied to the exterior of the building, preferably attached to the glass itself, we simply look enthusiastically at the prospect of yet another interesting challenge. Do you have one of those impossible situations, a dilemma as to how to reduce solar gain through inaccessible windows? Have you got a sun problem that other companies have not been able to come up with a solution to? Give us a call. We've never been beaten yet!
2010 Comparative Price Guide - 4m x 4m Fixed Awning - £2125.00 (inc vat)

This tubular steel frame structure was clad in deteriorating plywood when we were asked to look at a practical refurbishment option. With some clever access skills and a degree of ingenuity we successfully wrapped the structure in a fully waterproof covering of Estoryl PVC fabric, without any interruption to trade.

This hotel entrance walkway canopy looks like it might collect a significant amount of rainwater within, posing a serious potential hazard. However, hidden within the outer cladding is a carefully constructed sloping roof, taking the water run-off away to the perimeter corners and down the support posts to a soakaway.
