These awnings are not cheap imports from China and the Far East. The systems and the fabrics are Italian, they are manufactured in our factory in Fishponds, Bristol and as such they carry the CE mark (Conformity Executive for European quality standards). We only use Somfy motors, which are guaranteed for five years, the same as Para acrylic fabrics and BAT awning systems (providing they are installed correctly and only used for the purpose of sun protection). These awnings are of significantly better quality than those you are likely to find in your average DIY store or garden centre. (Caveat Emptor!!!).

This awning is manually gear operated with a removable crank handle It has a powdercoated aluminium protective coverboard and is finished in an attractive multi-striped Sunbrella acrylic fabric.
This Budget Patio Awning is motorised using a Somfy Altus 30NM RTS tubular motor which is controlled via a radio signal transmitted from the interior wall-mounted, battery operated Centralis switch. This system requires no hard-wiring, as the motor is fitted with a simple 5-amp 3-pin plug. Radio Technology Somfy - simplicity itself.
