As a general rule, where total light exclusion is required to a room, then the product of choice would naturally be the Supashade cassette roller blind with full side and bottom channels that completely seal the window from any light penetration whatsoever. However, where there is a requirement to follow a theme throughout the building, for example within a larger office environment, it becomes most common to utilise a fabric such as Louvolite's Exlite PVC blackout material in those more sensitive rooms requiring a greater degree of light exclusion. Most common in our experience is the specification to provide vertical blinds to the majority of windows within an office in a VDU Compliant fabric, but the blinds specifically within the boardroom and training rooms to have a blackout quality for projector and presentation purposes, whilst still retaining consistency of appearance from the outside of the building.
