89mm SYSTEMS

The 89mm Vertical Blind System uses the narrower of the two available slat width options for all standard Vertical Blinds. The self-aligning wheeled travellers can be drawn back to stack at the left side, to the right, or to bi-part as a split draw. The size of the stack is somewhat greater than that of the wider 127mm slat, as more slats are used with the 89mm blind in order to cover the width of the window. One of the best advantages of the 89mm Vertical Blind System is that it projects less into the room space than the wider 127mm slat, making this a more popular choice of blind when installed to the outside of the window recess. Some windows may have extended openers that need to be avoided, others may have a particularly narrow cill, and many windows are simply not set within a recess at all. All of these situations make the narrower slat option the better choice, and there is also an aesthetic argument for selecting a more slimline system in these modern times.
